It goes without saying, that good design can and will improve many aspects of your business. Not only does good design identify a brands true purpose — good design communicates effectively. Recently, I came across a leaflet in my mailbox that blew my mind. In short, the leaflet was created to bring attention to a real estate agent that was starting her own agency of sorts. Normally, leaflets (unless extremely interesting) will most likely be ignored and/or thrown away. It’s just how it is these days. The overly saturated amounts of garbage is hardly appealing and unsurprisingly — the information contained in these leaflets never get the receivers much wanted attention.

Does design connect us all beyond its primary function?

To elaborate, I've recently come to the conclusion that we as designers are very similar to the consumers our clients serve, on a day to day basis. In particular, we much like them, are not used to change at all - in fact, the majority of us are terrible at it.
